    1. 276.625 days? That’s… very specific

edit: it’s a joke, and I didn’t think it would have offended so many people (6639/24=…)

    2. The number **6639H** on a remote control typically refers to a specific timer setting for lights that cycles through a pattern: **6 hours on, 6 hours off, 3 hours on, 9 hours off**, and then repeats. This is a common timer option for products like [Christmas lights](https://www.google.com/search?q=Christmas+lights&rlz=1C1ONGR_enUS1097US1097&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&ved=2ahUKEwj7mMKjyqyRAxWZ4skDHQ5JKzUQgK4QegYIAQgAEAY) and [festoon lights](https://www.google.com/search?q=festoon+lights&rlz=1C1ONGR_enUS1097US1097&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&ved=2ahUKEwj7mMKjyqyRAxWZ4skDHQ5JKzUQgK4QegYIAQgAEAc).

More interesting is that piece of hair on the bottom left that I kept trying to wipe off my screen…

    4. 6639h is roughly 9 months, which makes perfect sense up north because for about 3 months lights are not needed

    5. You press that button at 00:00 Christmas Day and the lights stay on until 27 September at 15:00

    6. Reddit makes me feel stupid sometimes, didn’t make any sense until I read the comments where it makes total sense

I now know it’s for timer settings, but I was hoping it was for people who wanted their lights on for the better part of a year…you know, so they can piss off their neighbors, lol.

    8. Why the fuck does no one realise this gets posted every year! It’s literally karma farming at it’s peak!
